Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a Denver-based company to a role for Remote Part Time AP Accountant.  For anyone outside of Denver, open to remote work.  

This role will be 10-20 hours a week, pays $25-$35/hr. Candidates can work on a remote, hybrid, or onsite schedule. 
 

Job Duties: 

• Process vendor invoices using accounting and AP system to properly record and book each transaction and payment

• Perform invoice reviews to find processing errors, rejects, duplicates and other errors

• Provide bi-weekly Accounts Payable aging report for approval to support bi-weekly check runs

• Maintain working knowledge of the chart of accounts, AFEs, cost centers in the accounting software to ensure proper coding in support of the company’s ongoing drilling program

• Provide external audit assistance as required

• Assist vendors with new vendor, 1099, MSA requirements and respond to vendor inquiries to resolve discrepancies when needed
   

Skills/Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in Accounts Payable

• Must have experience using Open Invoice, MS Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint & Word), and BOLO (preferred)

• Must be a self motivated & independent worker
• Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred
