Lakeshore Talent is working with a world-class academic healthcare system based in North Carolina in search of a Linen Distribution Associate to support a hospital in Raleigh.

Schedule: 11:00pm-7:30am Sunday-Thursday
Pay Rate: $17 per hour

This is a 6 month, contract to hire position.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with loading, transporting, and delivering linens throughout the hospital, specifically for ORs
• Use Pyxis machines to retrieve and return supplies
• Perform cycle count on a regular basis to ensure accuracy of stock levels in all areas
• Accept and sign for delivers from distributors as necessary
• Inspect shipments and file packing slips
• Prepare and ship out Vendor Returns
• Move and stock supplies to appropriate shelfing locations once receiving is complete
• Demonstrate excellent customer service when interacting with clients to address linen and/or supply questions
• Maintain good inventory management processes
• Meet supply needs with prompt delivery
• Assist with computerized order entry and inventory

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 1+ year(s) of work experience in distribution, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, material handling, inventory control or related field
• Reaching, lifting, and bending are frequent in daily duties
• Because this position is in a healthcare settings, employees must have up to date immunization records (MMR, Varicella, TDaP, Covid)
