Lakeshore Talent is currently seeking an Audit & Assurance Associate for one of their clients, a well-known consulting firm based out of Fort Collins, Colorado. This is an in-office direct hire position and pays 60K-100K (depending on experience).

Background check and two professional references required upon hire.

Job Description:

As an Audit and Assurance Associate you will follow AICPA standards to validate the reliability and integrity of client’s financial data and reporting and may be asked to provide attest services on non-financial procedures to prove compliance with government regulations, security procedures, or privacy controls.

Job Duties:

• Proficient in AICPA standards.

• Have a working knowledge of the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 16

• Planning and conducting audits of client financial statements.

• Examine records to ensure proper recording and authorization of transactions, compliance with policies, and applicable laws.

• Prepare detailed reports of audit findings and recommendations for client companies.

• Build lasting relationships with clients in order to instill customer confidence as a trusted and crucial advisor. 

• Work in a team-oriented environment, taking direction from peers and supervisors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Master’s is preferred).

• CPA license OR working on requirements.

• Min 2+ years, preferable to have 3+ years’ experience and up (they have a ton of recent graduates, and they want more experience)
