Lakeshore Talent is seeking a talented and highly motivated CAD Technician to support a dynamic and innovative oil and gas organization. As a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for creating detailed and accurate civil site drawings and exhibits from topographic survey data. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to facilitate planning, permitting, and civil construction efforts, as well as survey data integration into the GIS enterprise platform.

Contract Length: This position will start as a 6 month contract with potential for extension and/or permanent hire

Hybrid Schedule/Location: Work is performed on site in Downtown Denver with an option to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays

Pay: $25-$40 per hour

Responsibilities

• Create engineering and civil site drawings from topographic survey data

• Conduct analysis for cut-fill and volume calculations to support location planning

• Assist in the transformation of CAD data into geospatial data platforms

• Collaborate with stakeholder groups to gather project requirements

• Integrate survey data from external data sources into GIS projects

• Execute data quality assessments and implement control measures

What You Bring:

• 3+ years of experience in drafting, working with survey data, oil and gas operations, and/or geospatial analysis

• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D)

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer-Aided Drafting, Surveying, Geomatics, GIS or related preferred

• Positive attitude and the ability to work independently

• Strong attention to detail

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

• Background check and drug screen (including THC) will be required upon hire
