Lakeshore Talent is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Director to lead various teams, including Production, Display, Maintenance, Material Handling, Purchasing, and Shipping for a Wholesale client based in the Denver Metropolitan area.

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $135,000.00 – $185,000.00 per year
Schedule: Monday through Friday, Day Shift

The ideal candidate will foster a collaborative and integrated team culture, emphasizing continuous improvement using lean principles. As the Manufacturing Director, you will be responsible for championing a high-performance culture within the manufacturing team, suppliers, and customers, aligning efforts to achieve our goals of completing projects on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Direct and oversee the Production, Display, Maintenance, Material Handling, Purchasing, and Shipping teams.
  • Foster a collaborative and ‘no-silo’ team culture, emphasizing continuous improvement through lean principles.
  • Organize resources strategically to address constraints and optimize efficiency.
  • Champion the company’s high-performance culture to meet Complete and On Time and budgeting goals.
  • Create an atmosphere that encourages innovative solutions in product quality, costs, delivery, safety, and cleanliness.
  • Enhance the Run Clean vision and facilitate its execution within the manufacturing team.
  • Contribute energy, creativity, and wisdom to the Leadership Team to achieve a culture of excellence.

Key Functions:

  • Develop and achieve strategic goals for the Manufacturing team and the organization.
  • Work with and around chemicals, maintaining a safety-first mindset.
  • Prioritize work according to cleanliness, quality, and delivery, with a focus on safety.
  • Collaborate with all functions of the organization to ensure seamless operations.
  • Build and sustain a culture of continuous improvement using Lean/Six Sigma/Kaizen tools.

Requirements:

  • Four-year college degree or equivalent experience in Business or Manufacturing.
  • Minimum of 8 years of manufacturing experience with progressively increasing responsibility.
  • 4 years of supervisory experience and 5 years on a leadership team.
  • Technical training or practical experience in leading continuous improvement strategies.
  • Knowledge and experience in running Lean/Six Sigma programs.

Salary Range: $135,000 – $185,000 Annually
