We are seeking a Workday HRIS Manager to support a restaurant/hospitality company based in Denver, CO. As the HRIS Manager, you will lead the optimization and strategic management of Workday while overseeing daily operations to ensure its alignment with organizational objectives and compliance requirements. 

Opportunity Details:

  • Location: 100% remote – candidates can be located anywhere in the US, but must have a willingness to come to the Denver office 2x per year
  • Employment Type: Contract to hire
  • Competitive Salary Upon Conversion: $130k – $145k plus an annual bonus

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and analyze business requirements while recommending solutions for data management needs
  • Lead the planning of an HR technology roadmap, aligning systems with company strategy, setting up processes, and ensuring seamless integration
  • Determine the scope of Workday optimization projects and allocate resources
  • Design HRIS processes, provide training, and foster team collaboration
  • Drive HR technology optimization to enhance efficiency and compliance, as well as improve processes
  • Enhance HRIS and data analytic functions
  • Identify trends in employee data and create actionable insights for leaders
  • Supervise and mentor an HR Technology Team, overseeing daily activities
  • Maintain the integrity of internal database files, tables, and reports while resolving operational concerns with cross-functional teams
  • Manage and lead projects to ensure goals are met within the appropriate timelines/budgets
  • Contribute to the development of integrated Total Rewards and Benefits programs, including maintaining internal databases and configurations, developing reports for compliance, supporting renewal/open enrollment processes, and providing necessary training.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Technology, Business, or similar field
  • 5-7 years of experience as a Workday Analyst
  • 5+ years of supervisory experiencing with proven record of organizing teams and evaluating performance
  • Demonstrated project management expertise with the ability to lead a project from end to end
  • Ability to adapt to evolving business needs and solve problems effectively while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Previous industry experience with restaurants and/or hospitality is highly desired
