Pay: $21.78 – 22.62/hr, additional compensation available to bilingual applicants
Location: East El Paso County – Colorado Spring, CO
Position Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Nonprofit Nursing Facilities Coordinator to oversee and enhance the operations of our nursing facilities. The Coordinator will play a key role in ensuring that our facilities run smoothly, maintaining high standards of care, and supporting our mission of delivering exceptional service to our residents.
Key Responsibilities:

Facility Management:
- Oversee daily operations of nursing facilities, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.
- Collaborate with facility managers to address operational issues and implement improvements.

Staff Coordination:
- Coordinate staffing schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and addressing staffing shortages.
- Facilitate training and professional development for facility staff to ensure high-quality care and adherence to best practices.

Resident Care and Support:
- Monitor resident care quality and address any issues or concerns raised by residents or their families.
- Work closely with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.

Compliance and Reporting:
- Ensure all facilities comply with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Prepare and submit required reports and documentation related to facility operations and resident care.

Program Development:
- Develop and implement programs and activities that enhance the quality of life for residents.
- Evaluate and adjust programs based on resident feedback and needs.

Budget and Resource Management:
- Assist in the preparation and management of facility budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Oversee procurement and inventory of supplies and equipment.

Community and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Build and maintain relationships with community partners, families, and stakeholders.
- Represent the organization at community events and meetings to promote our mission and programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Social Work, or a related field (required).
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a healthcare or nursing facility setting, or Case Management experience within LTC communities
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and best practices in nursing care.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with facility management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in nonprofit settings.
- Certification in Long-Term Care Administration or similar credential.
