Lakeshore Talent is seeking a Jewelry Sorter & Inventory Control Associate for one of their clients in the jewelry & retail industry. This position is responsible for processing, sorting, and matching loose gems and stones in accordance with Company quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, enjoy working with their hands, and possess basic math skills. This will be a contract to hire position, paying $20.50/hour with working hours of Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm.
LOCATION: Centennial, Colorado
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Process all loose gems and stones efficiently and accurately.
- Spread gems by invoice and lot, weighing each in preparation for serialization and grading, which requires basic math skills; including adding decimal.
- Input stone information for serialization into computer system
- Complete necessary paperwork for Accounting Department
- Prepare and process all loose gem/stone returns, repairs and certifications.
- Receive invoices and memos from vendors, communicating any discrepancies to supervisor and vendor within 24 hours of receipt.
- Verifying cut, color, clarity, make and size of gemstones.
- Assist in monthly inventory process.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent vision (will be working with small gems)
- Independent worker
- Legible penmanship
