Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a reputable manufacturing company in their efforts to find a dedicated and personable customer service representative to join their team. This company has an amazing, employee-centered culture and is looking for a candidate who enjoys partnering with customers to provide education and find the right product for their needs!
Location: This is an onsite contract-to-hire opportunity in Thornton, Colorado
Pay: $25/hr.
Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering exceptional customer service, resolving inquiries efficiently, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires excellent communication skills, empathy, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries and technical questions via phone, email, and live chat in a professional, timely, and courteous manner.
- Advise customers on products and answer questions regarding proper use and processes.
- Identify customer needs, clarify information, and provide accurate solutions and recommendations.
- Accept and fill orders via phone, fax, online, and occasionally in person. Process orders, returns, and exchanges accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain and communicate customer information within the databases’ including Salesforce and Dynamics GP.
- Handle and resolve customer complaints, escalating issues when necessary to ensure swift resolution.
- Maintain a high level of product and service knowledge to effectively address customer queries and concerns.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences and effective problem resolution.
- Keep detailed records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and actions taken.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to enhance the overall customer experience.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Proven experience in customer service or a related field, minimum of 2 years experience.
- Experience in product advisory, specifically with construction equipment, highly preferred.
- Background in Construction or shipping, preferred.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Salesforce, and Adobe.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
