Lakeshore Talent is on the search for Certified Nursing Assistants to assist participants in Northwestern Philadelphia. CNAs will deliver essential support to clients in their residences, focusing on routine care and assistance with daily activities. A physical presence at designated locations or participant homes is required to effectively fulfill responsibilities. This role offers the opportunity to work within a team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for clients through a comprehensive and compassionate approach to care.
Pay: $20-23/hour, depending on experience
Contract Length: 2-3 months, with high potential for extension or hire
Schedule: Various shifts available; with every other weekend rotations required
Responsibilities:
- Assisting with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, eating, and toileting based on individualized care plans.
- Documenting care provided and reporting observations in compliance with established guidelines and standards.
- Contributing to care planning in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
- Monitoring and recording vital signs, weight, appetite, skin condition, and functional ability, and reporting any significant changes promptly.
- Supporting clients with mobility, transfers, skin care, catheter maintenance, oxygen use, and other restorative needs.
- Offering meal assistance and feeding support as necessary.
- Participating in ongoing training and education to maintain and enhance skills.
This position also involves assisting with simple therapeutic or nursing tasks, completing documentation per agency policy, and performing essential household duties related to care provision.
Requirements:
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
- Valid CPR and BLS certifications
- Reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and appropriate insurance coverage.
- Willingness to float to different locations as necessary
- A minimum of one year of experience working with seniors or individuals with complex needs.
- High school diploma or equivalent (or relevant work experience).
Preferred Skills:
