Lakeshore Talent is seeking Equipment Technician to support  a well-known and nationally ranked hospital in Aurora, CO.
 
Pay: $30-35 per hour
Contract Length: 6 months to start with potential for extension and/or permanent hire
Shift:  Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm(40 hours per week)  
 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Diagnoses and troubleshoots issues in medical devices by working closely with experienced technicians and using specialized tools for evaluation.
• Practices adjusting, aligning, and testing equipment components under guidance, employing technical manuals, diagnostic tools, and precision instruments.
• Assists with regular upkeep and repairs on medical devices to ensure they meet safety standards and operate reliably.
• Maintains detailed records of equipment evaluations, servicing, and repairs in alignment with department protocols.
• Supports routine maintenance activities such as cleaning, fine-tuning, and lubricating devices to extend their usability.
• Contributes to assessing the condition of medical equipment, categorizing devices for repair, replacement, or disposal based on established guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to move at a moderate to fast pace with lots of walking every day
• Comfortable with moderate labor

CREDENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Two professional references
• 10 panel drug screen
• Background check
• Because this position is in a healthcare setting, all immunizations must be up to date (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, and seasonal flu)
