Compensation:

  • Base salary: Up to $90,000 DOE
  • Monthly car allowance
  • Commission structure with first-year on-target earnings (OTE) of $150,000 – $200,000

Position Overview:

This role is a dynamic sales position requiring both business development expertise and a strong understanding of Building Automation Systems (BAS). The BAS Project Sales Representative will be responsible for driving new business and expanding service offerings with existing clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, including executives, facility managers, property managers, and engineers.
  • Identify and qualify new business opportunities within the existing customer base (~75% of prospecting).
  • Understand commercial HVAC equipment, building automation systems, and energy efficiency strategies.
  • Present tailored solutions to customers, demonstrating ROI and cost-saving benefits.
  • Research and analyze client needs to deliver customized service agreements and upgrade recommendations.
  • Manage the sales process, including budgeting, quotes, and contract negotiations.
  • Partner closely with internal teams to ensure high customer satisfaction and service execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5-7 years of experience in Building Automation, Energy Services, or Building Commissioning.
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and commercial building operations.
  • Experience in commercial building construction, maintenance, or operations.
  • Excellent sales and business development skills with the ability to drive new opportunities.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and maintain a safe driving record.
  • Strong time management, communication, and client relationship-building skills.
