Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a prominent law firm in Denver to find a highly skilled Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in their litigation practice. This is a full-time opportunity requiring 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting.
Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: Denver, CO (RiNo Neighborhood) | Hybrid (3 days in office)
Salary: $55,000 – $90,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent
Position Overview
The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys while working collaboratively with other team members. This role requires a strong background in litigation support, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare legal documents, exhibits, closing binders, and docket entry forms.

Proofread documents, communications, and reports with a strong focus on grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, coordinating with the firm’s travel company and preparing itineraries.

Greet and welcome visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and process mail.

Assist with training new staff on firm processes and core practice areas.

Maintain electronic and paper filing systems in compliance with firm policies.

Coordinate client billing, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal departments.

Facilitate communication between attorneys, clients, and various departments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:

3-5 years of general commercial litigation experience in a law firm.

Strong knowledge of legal administrative tasks, including e-filing and document management.

Intermediate to advanced proficiency in legal software, recordkeeping, timekeeping, billing, and document management.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong proofreading abilities.

Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.

Ability to learn and adapt to new software and firm policies.
Education & Experience:

Required: High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant litigation experience.

Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree and Notary Public certification.
Work Schedule & Environment:
-
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional overtime required).

Hybrid Role: 3 days in-office, following attorney schedules.
