Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a prominent law firm in Denver to find a highly skilled Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys in their litigation practice. This is a full-time opportunity requiring 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience in a law firm setting.

Legal Administrative Assistant
Location: Denver, CO (RiNo Neighborhood) | Hybrid (3 days in office)
Salary: $55,000 – $90,000 DOE
Job Type: Permanent 


Position Overview

The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide comprehensive administrative and legal support to attorneys while working collaboratively with other team members. This role requires a strong background in litigation support, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare legal documents, exhibits, closing binders, and docket entry forms.

  • Proofread documents, communications, and reports with a strong focus on grammar, punctuation, and syntax.

  • Organize and schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements, coordinating with the firm’s travel company and preparing itineraries.

  • Greet and welcome visitors, answer and direct phone calls, and process mail.

  • Assist with training new staff on firm processes and core practice areas.

  • Maintain electronic and paper filing systems in compliance with firm policies.

  • Coordinate client billing, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with internal departments.

  • Facilitate communication between attorneys, clients, and various departments.


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of general commercial litigation experience in a law firm.

  • Strong knowledge of legal administrative tasks, including e-filing and document management.

  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in legal software, recordkeeping, timekeeping, billing, and document management.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong proofreading abilities.

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

  • Detail-oriented with a professional demeanor.

  • Ability to learn and adapt to new software and firm policies.


Education & Experience:

  • Required: High School Diploma or equivalent with at least 1 year of relevant litigation experience.

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree and Notary Public certification.


Work Schedule & Environment:

  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (occasional overtime required).

  • Hybrid Role: 3 days in-office, following attorney schedules.

  • Work Environment: Professional law firm office with access to a fitness center (at no cost).
