Lakeshore Talent is seeking an Accounting Clerk for a home building company located in Centennial, CO. This is a contract to hire opportunity paying $24-$29/hr.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage administrative and accounting related functions including preparation of work orders, processing of invoices, accounts payable, fee payments and budgeting
- Manage accounts payable
- Facilitate proposal process and issuance of work agreements
- Perform all aspects of contracting tasks including work order set-up, work order drafting, making sure that signed work orders are in place
- Set up new vendors and enroll vendors
- Work closely with Risk Management to troubleshoot all vendor setup issues, insurance renewal issues, master agreement issues etc.
- Process and approve work order progress payments, retention billings, and utility billings for review and approval
- Reconcile and research work order accounts for final payment
- Work closely with accounts payable to track payment statuses and/or resolve non-payment issues for vendors
- Work with Project Managers and Land Development Administrator to process check requests
- Effectively manage multiple projects to meet critical deadlines
- Create and manage a variety of spreadsheets
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2+ years of administrative experience
- 2+ years of clerical accounting experience to include Accounts Payable
