Lakeshore Talent is partnering with an educational nonprofit organization to fill a role for an Administrative Manager. The administrative manager will hire, train, and evaluate administrative team members; develop, review, and improve policies, systems, and procedures; and ensure the offices and administrative team operate smoothly and efficiently. The right candidate would have 7 years of progressive administrative experience to include 2 years of supervisory experience. A Bachelor’s degree is required.

This will be a direct-hire role paying $70-80K with a hybrid work schedule working 1 day a week in-office. Candidates must provide either covid vaccination records or an acceptable declination form.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Supervising the day-to-day operations of the administrative department and staff members.
  • Hiring, training, and evaluating employees and taking corrective action when necessary.
  • Developing, reviewing, and improving administrative systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Working with the accounting and management teams to recommend administrative budgets, monitor spending and expenses.
  • Planning, scheduling, and promoting office events, including meetings, conferences, interviews, orientations, and training sessions.
  • Ensuring the office is stocked with necessary supplies and that all equipment is working and properly maintained.
  • Overseeing special projects and tracking progress towards company goals.
  • May perform other related duties as assigned.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE:

  • Ability to multi-task and quickly pivot projects, planning for and keeping track of multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong problem solving, critical thinking, coaching, interpersonal, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Technology, including Microsoft Office software (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and the ability to learn related systems and equipment.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with ability to coach and mentor staff to develop skills and improve outcomes.
  • Willingness to continue building skills through educational opportunities.
  • Personable, friendly, and adaptive, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Requires a bachelor’s degree.
  • 7+ years of progressively responsibility administrative support
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience
