Lakeshore Talent is looking for an experienced staffing sales professional to lead our business development efforts in our Denver and Chicago markets. This would be focused on driving business in new and innovative markets. This position would be primarily working remotely with occasional meetings out of our Denver office – candidates must live locally.

Responsibilities:

  • Source prospective clients through referrals, networking, social media, internet research, sales leads and direct contact.

  • Schedule and conduct client meetings to introduce new clients to the value of Lakeshore Talent, with an end goal of establishing a staffing partnership.

  • Prepare and present professional services proposals.

  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to facilitate the placement process, which may include presentation of candidates, interview scheduling, client preparation, debrief and salary negotiation.

  • Act as a market expert to educate our clients on best practices regarding talent acquisition. 

  • Primarily focus on building new client relationships; occasionally you may be called upon to assist in deepening existing relationships.

  • Obtain market share in client base

  • Connect with candidates, colleagues and clients on a regular basis to develop and maintain relationships, expand industry knowledge, and generate referrals and leads.

  • Present new and innovative ideas to grow our client base.

  • Manage a book of business; working with hiring managers in many different industries.

  • Be in constant communication with prospective clients via cold calls, warm calls, networking events and the use of social media with the goal of consistently generating business opportunities

  • Expand and grow our business through the establishment of relationships at companies we are currently not working with.

  • Collaborate with recruiters and strategically leverage the strength and knowledge of the recruiters to fill job requisitions successfully

 

Requirements:

  • BA/BS degree preferred.

  • 2-4 years professional experience in a staffing sales environment

  • Ability to develop customer relationships

  • Proven organizational skills with attention to detail 

  • Ability to self-manage, prioritize initiatives and work well building your own book of business

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on warmth, customer service, and engagement

  • Strong internet research skills.  Proficiency in MS office, including Word and Excel.  Ability to grasp cutting edge technologies.
