Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a well known healthcare system to fill a need for a Medical Assistant in Chicago, IL. This CMA will work in an Neurology Clinic assisting with patient vitals, stocking, and other assigned duties.

 

Pay: $27-28/hour, depending on experience
Contract Length: 3 months, with potential for extension 
Shift: 8:00am – 4:30pm

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in scheduling patient appointments
  • Measure and record vital signs
  • Collect blood samples
  • Perform data entry/patient charting
  • Clean exam rooms
  • Answer phone calls
  • Performing administrative tasks

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of MA experience
  • MA Certification (AMT, AAMA, or NCCT) 
  • AHA BLS Certification
  • Experience with Neurology, preferred
  • Experience with EPIC, preferred
  • Because this position is in a healthcare setting, all immunizations must be up to date (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, seasonal flu, and Covid-19)
