Lakeshore Talent is seeking a CNA to support the Acute center for Eating Disorders at a well known Hospital system in Denver, CO. Candidates must have an active CNA license and BLS Certification. 

Shift- 7:00 pm – 7:00 am (3 – 12 hour shifts per week); 3-4 weekends shifts/month (Saturday and/or Sunday)
Pay- $25-$26/hr
Location- Denver, CO
Contract Length- 3 months, with potential for extension

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
 

  • This role will be providing one-to-one care for patients with eating disorders.
  • Candidates should feel comfortable with redirecting patients and providing emotional support.
  • CNAs will be responsible for collecting vital signs, blood sugars, weights, and assisting patients with ADLs.
  • Provide personal care for residents 
  • Adhere to strict infection control guidelines including hand washing and universal precautions
  • Observe and communicate condition changes and updates
  • Assist in Patient Transportation
  • Stocking of Surgical Supplies

REQUIREMENTS:

  • State certification and graduation from a state approved nursing assistant training program required
  • BLS Certification, required
  • Epic experience, required
  • Experience in Acute and or Behavioral Health, preferred
  • Knowledge and experience in nursing
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills required
  • Ability to read thermometers, charts, and testing equipment
Due to this position being in a healthcare setting, employees must have up to date vaccinations (including Covid-19, 2022 flu, MMR, Varicella, and TDaP)
