Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a well-known hospital system in search of a Customer Service Representative to support  Patient Financial Services in Aurora, CO.  


CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 months to start with potential for extension or hire
PAY: $22-24/hour
SHIFT: Monday-Friday; 7:00 am – 3:30 pm



  • Respond to inbound phone calls
  • Inform families of current account balance
  • Update insurance coverage
  • Update guarantor/patient demographics
  • Process Payments
  • Establish Payment Plans
  • Pre-Screen for financial assistance
  • Send Itemized Statements to Family
  • Initiate Coding or charge reviews to RI and HIM
  • Intermediate EOB/Insurance Processing Review
  • Outbound Courtesy/Collection Calls
  • Helps diffuse escalated calls
  • Supports special projects.


  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • 3+ years of Hospital Billing or Customer Service experience, required
  • Understanding of reading and interpreting remittance and EOB’s
  • Ability to diffuse escalated calls with empathy
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and take appropriate action
  • Experience with EPIC, preferred
  • Candidates should be professional, reliable and willing to work

Because this position is in a healthcare setting, immunization records must be up-to-date (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, Covid-19).
