Lakeshore Talent is seeking qualified applicants for a Healthcare Customer Service Representative position to support the Membership Accounting Team at a large healthcare organization in Lone Tree, CO. This position will start as a 6 month contract with the opportunity to be extended or transitioned to a permanent role.

 

PAY RATE: $23/hr

SHIFT: 8:00 – 5:00, Monday – Friday

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receiving and answering inbound calls from patients
  • Responding to inquiries and directing calls to appropriate departments
  • Determines and maintains eligibility requirements for members and dependents
  • Collects premiums and sends notifications of eligibility to members 
  • Entering and reviewing claims for members enrollment

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience working in a healthcare setting
  • Inbound call center and scheduling experience within a healthcare setting
  • Strong knowledge in COBRA, HIPAA, and FSA
  • Knowledge of medical insurance and benefits strongly preferred
  • Requires critical thinking skills and detail oriented
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Because this position is in a healthcare setting, immunization records must be up-to-date (MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Flu, Covid-19).
