Lakeshore Talent is seeking qualified candidates for a Financial Analyst position in the Broomfield, Colorado area. This position will be responsible for manipulating excel data involving +150 excel workbooks that contain budget & forecast information, so that the information can be uploaded into a forecast software. Qualified candidates will have a background in finance or accounting and the ability to manage SharePoint and VBA experience. 

This role will be a contract to hire position. Hours are Monday-Friday 8am – 5pm, working remotely to start with the potential for a hybrid schedule once hired on directly. Pay for this position is $55/hr.  

 

What You’ll Do

  • Support financial reporting, planning, and forecasting processes from a process and system perspective

  • Oversee an efficient and accurate centralized reporting packages for the finance team and ensures quality control on monthly and all other reporting

  • Leverage expertise in VBA to execute key processes and execute on process simplification opportunities

  • Large focus on identifying and executing against opportunities for continuous process improvement

  • Lead training and documentation preparation on reporting functionality / key processes and be a domain-expert and consultant to stakeholders

  • Assist in developing finance & business presentations such as Board of Director presentations and Executive Staff presentations

  • Identify opportunities to develop improved reporting that will drive business decisions

  • Supports data integration and data governance efforts

  • Consolidates operating, capital and forecasting results from all Corporate functions

  • Produces ad hoc analysis

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong demonstrated experience working with Visual Basic 

  • Experience in financial planning and analysis functions, including annual budget, capital budgeting, long-term strategic planning and resource allocation processes.

  • Brave, ambitious and passionate

  • Strong organization, and project management skills; ability to juggle multiple concurrent high-priority projects while meeting deadlines, being a team player, and seeking continuous improvement

  • Highly collaborative team approach to work with a proactive orientation towards gathering voice-of-the-customer to design and deliver impactful solutions

  • Demonstrate a natural curiosity around business results and insights while consistently identifying ways to improve data management governance and processes, reporting capabilities, and stakeholder communication
