Lakeshore Talent is partnered with a well-known healthcare organization based in Colorado in their search for a customer service representative to support their insurance department. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity that will be located on-site in Lone Tree, CO.

Shift: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm
Pay Rate: $22-$23 per hour (depending on experience)

Responsibilities:

  • Answer and document incoming calls from potential enrollees and current members regarding questions about their health insurance
  • Maintain current and complete eligibility records for enrollees and dependents
  • Establish and maintain premium billing and eligibility reporting for clients and brokers
  • Work with clients and account managers to determine eligibility requirements for members and dependents
  • Enter and review Flexible Spending Account (FSA) claims and charges
  • Collect premiums from members and send notifications to members with pending payments
  • Compile and mail eligibility packets
  • Distribute COBRA and HIPAA notifications to leaving members
  • Additional related tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 4+ years of experience in a healthcare office
  • Prior call center experience desired, prior call center experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of COBRA, HIPAA, and FSA preferred
  • The right candidate will have excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Because this position is in a healthcare setting, employees must have up to date immunization records (MMR, TDaP, Varicella, Flu, Covid)
