Lakeshore Talent is seeking qualified applicants for an HR Manager position within a reputable and rapidly growing tech company focused in the clean energy space. This is a direct hire position with competitive salary, flexibility, and benefits. This job will be working remotely but candidates must be based locally out of Boston, Massachusetts, as eventually the position will become a hybrid model.

SALARY: $82,000-$95,000

SUMMARY AND OVERVIEW: As an HR Manager, you will lead the HR Operations team and play an integral role on the People team. This role works collaboratively with the People team to support a happy, positive, and productive workplace. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for a collaborative business model, clean energy, and has specific experience in compensation plan development and management, benefits administration, HRIS systems and reporting, and supervising and mentoring a small team of HR professionals. This position supports all office and remote employees in the U.S., Canada, and India. 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  •  Develop and manage corporate compensation and benefits policies and plans, and research trends to ensure our plans are cost-effective and competitive 

  • Facilitate implementation and administration of benefits plans and programs including employee paid and unpaid leave, and other benefits and perks, across the US and Canada

  •  Drive the annual benefit open enrollment process

  •   Provide for a smooth and successful integration for all mergers and acquisitions

  • Supervise a small team of HR professionals, and support the People team strategic objectives

  •   Develop and implement HR policies and programs in alignment with People team mission and strategy, and the overall business strategy

  •  Design reports and recommendations based on research and analysis for senior executive team

  •  Work closely with and assist, as needed, other People team functions including talent acquisition, business partners, workplace operations, and learning and development 

  •  Work cross functionally with other departments including finance, accounting, IT, and legal

  •   Ensure the company is compliant with local, state and federal laws, and data privacy regulations and best practices

  •   Maintain company and employee confidentiality and handle sensitive proprietary information in the appropriate manner.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5+ years of human resource management experience 

  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, organization, and attention to detail

  •   Strong verbal and written communication skills 

  •  Experience developing and administering compensation and benefit plans, and policies

  •  Background in multi-state and international HR management 

  •  Knowledge of how to develop processes and procedures for compliance audits, and to ensure the company is legally compliant with all relevant local, state and federal laws and reporting requirements 

  •  Experience in merger and acquisition integration

  •   Experience with Namely, Pingboard and/or Insperity experience (preferred)

  •  Canadian benefits administration (preferred)
