Lakeshore Talent is currently seeking a Lead Web Developer for one of their clients, a large consulting company based in Englewood, CO. This is a remote, direct hire position and pays $152K with a 2% bonus.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a Lead Web Developer to help set software development patterns for the UI developers. This person will help solve the problems UI team is encounter, peer review, guidance, informational session and help them become better developers. They will work with REACT framework which is a web technology.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop code that adheres to the standards set out by the Web Architecture team — and help shape and evolve those standards
  • Work with the Product team, Architects, and stakeholders to set requirements and break down work in a way that contributes to continuous integration development
  • Enhance the existing codebase to add features, improve readability, security, scalability, and fix bugs
  • Provide thoughtful mentoring and guidance to other engineers
  • Explore and evangelize modern standards and pursuit of cutting-edge technologies
  • Work with Application Support and DevOps teams to support the product
  • Perform under minimal supervision on significantly complex assignments

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work-related experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with front-end technologies (e.g. HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Angular/AngularJS, React, or Vue)
  • 2+ years of experience with Git and version control
  • Understanding of good programming practices (e.g. SOLID, Clean Code, etc.)
  • Experience with a testing framework (e.g. Mocha, Jest, Selenium, Cypress, or React Testing Library)
  • Proven track record of delivering elegant solutions to complex problems
  • Experience interfacing with Product, QA, and DevOps teams
  • Effective communicator to both non-technical and technical partners
  • Comfortable and effective at identifying and articulating technical risks to non-technical and technical audiences
  • Self-driven problem solver
  • Comfortable with Agile methodologies and ceremonies (e.g. Kanban, SCRUM, standup, planning, and retro)
  • An understanding of web standards and protocols and in-depth experience working with RESTful APIs
  • Solid experience coordinating the execution of multiple software features across multiple teams
  • An understanding of, and adherence to, recognized and secure coding practices
  • Ability to work independently

Preferred Qualifications

  • 7 year of experience with front-end technologies (e.g. HTML/CSS/JavaScript, Angular/AngularJS, React, or Vue)
  • Experience with a CI/CD tool (e.g. Azure DevOps or Jenkins)
  • Knowledge of build processes and developer tooling (e.g. Webpack)
  • Hands-on experience with a public cloud provider (preferably AWS)
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform or Chef)
