Lakeshore Talent is partnered with a reputable and well-known healthcare network in search of a Patient Services Coordinator/Scheduler to help support a Cancer Clinic on site in Boulder, CO. This is a contract to hire position that pays $18 to $22 per hour (depending on experience).

Shift: Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm

Responsibilities:

  • Greets patients and visitors to the clinic in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Checks in patients and informs clinical staff of patient arrival.
  • Provides and explains paperwork for the patient to complete prior to testing.
  •  Updates demographics and insurance information in the system.
  • Collects co-pays and balances; provides receipt.
  • Schedule diagnostic tests ordered by physician
  • Maintains lobby area in a neat and orderly manner. Maintains a legible supply of forms and appropriate office supplies required for daily activities.
  • Adheres to confidentiality, state, federal, and HIPPA laws and guidelines with regards to patient’s records.
  • Schedules all CT and PET scans, once approved from insurance.
  • Maintains the chart message and anything that is in queue.
  • Scans and copies updated insurance cards.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ years of office experience
  • 1+ year of medical scheduling experience preferred
  • Background check and drug screening (excluding THC) required upon hire as well as proof of Covid and Flu vaccinations
