Lakeshore Talent is working alongside a reputable healthcare network in their search for a Patient Services Representative in Downtown Chicago, IL. This position will start as a 3 month contract with strong potential for extension and/or permanent hire.

Shift: 8:30am-5:00pm
Pay: $20 per hour

Job Responsibilities:
An employee in this position may be called upon to perform any of the following tasks as well as additional related tasks.

  • Schedule patient appointments
  • Check in/check out patients
  • Update insurance information
  • Process co-pays
  • Follow-up with patients
  • Greet visitors, patients, and guests at the front desk
  • Respond to incoming phone calls and emails as necessary
  • Communicate information to the patient regarding questions about physician referrals, insurance referrals, and consultations

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent 
  • Prior work experience at a front desk, preferably in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Experience with Epic, preferred
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English, preferred

Because this position is in a healthcare setting, immunizations must be up to date (HepB, Varicella, Tdap, MMR, Covid, and seasonal flu shot)
