Lakeshore Talent is currently seeking a Purchasing Clerk for one of their clients, a large technology company. This is a hybrid (20% on-site at their office in Fresno), 3-4 month contract position and pays $19-20/hour (depending on experience).
Background check and drug screen (excluding THC) required upon hire.
- Access SAP purchasing system to review/process purchase orders and ensure purchases are policy compliant or auditing
- Handling internal request with includes communication with suppliers via email.
- Update purchase orders based on approved requisitions.
- Analyses quotations received, obtains rectification of delivery.
- Deals with all day-to-day transactions according to defined guidelines.
- High school degree required
- 4-7 years administrative/purchasing experience
- SAP experience
- MS office experience is required
- Computer savvy and ability to manage, analyze and present data in meaningful formats
- Good Excel/Google Sheet skills
- Strong interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
- Comfortable with and able to quickly learn new business software applications/systems
- Process driven
