Lakeshore Talent is currently seeking a Purchasing Clerk for one of their clients, a large technology company. This is a hybrid (20% on-site at their office in Fresno), 3-4 month contract position and pays $19-20/hour (depending on experience).

 

Background check and drug screen (excluding THC) required upon hire.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Access SAP purchasing system to review/process purchase orders and ensure purchases are policy compliant or auditing
  • Handling internal request with includes communication with suppliers via email.
  • Update purchase orders based on approved requisitions.
  • Analyses quotations received, obtains rectification of delivery.
  • Deals with all day-to-day transactions according to defined guidelines.

 

Qualifications:

  • High school degree required
  • 4-7 years administrative/purchasing experience
  • SAP experience
  • MS office experience is required
  • Computer savvy and ability to manage, analyze and present data in meaningful formats
  • Good Excel/Google Sheet skills
  • Strong interpersonal/communication and presentation skills
  • Comfortable with and able to quickly learn new business software applications/systems
  • Process driven
