Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a well-known healthcare organization in Kansas City, MO to fill an opening for a medical scheduler. This will be a full-time role with working hours of 7am-3:30pm. Pay for the position is $15/hr. and will be starting as a 2 month contract with a strong potential of extending. 

 

Description:

  • Provides customer service to patients, families, physicians, physician offices, the community, and internal departments

  • Scheduling tests, procedures, treatments and services with minimal support.

  • Determining financial accountability providing information and referrals proactively.

  • Problem solving concerns and issues.

  • Providing patient instructions and education regarding preparations for tests and procedures.

 

Job Requirements

  • 1 year of previous scheduling experience or experience working in a hospital or doctor’s office 

  • If hired, candidates must pass a background check and drug test as well as provide proof of immunizations (flu, Hep B, MMR, TDaP, Varicella)
