Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a global organization in their search for a SharePoint Administrator. The ideal candidate must have at least 1-2 years of experience including experience building out SharePoint for organizations. Remote applicants willing to work in mountain time can be considered! This will be paying $40-$58/hr. and will be expected to be a 6 month project. 



This company is in the process of updating their internal Intranet.  As part of this process, this person will be aligned in the HR department and serve as a dedicated resource for updating and creating SharePoint templates.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Act as a  dedicated resource for updating and creating SharePoint templates

  • Interface with internal HR teams to help determine the most effective way to structure internal sites, content and pages to create the best employee experience 

  • As a SharePoint subject matter expert, will guide internal teams on SharePoint functionality, including permissions and content libraries

  • Manage/coach the different teams (e.g. benefits, global mobility) on using functionality such as permissions, content libraries etc, and give some guidance on creating engaging content

  • Will gather content requirements, and provide guidance on creating engaging content

  • Help the HR teams become competent in using collaboration sites within SharePoint to manage team files and documents

  • Ability to efficiently and optimally evaluate and prioritize tasks independently, juggling different priorities and personalities to ensure the content provided is on the right site.


Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred

  • At least 1 to 3 years experience building out SharePoint sites within an organization

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate with all facets of the HR team.

  • Must possess the ability to work independently 

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel)

  • Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with multiple HR teams.

  • Ability to efficiently and optimally evaluate and prioritize tasks independently.

  • Candidates must pass a background check and drug test as part of onboarding requirements.
