Speech Language Pathologist- (Clinical Evaluator)
Location: Denver, CO
Position Type: Full-Time
Salary Range: $71,140 – $84,500 (Salary)
Position Overview
Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a large non-profit in Denver seeking a Clinical Evaluator – Speech Language Pathologist to conduct evaluations and provide hearing screenings for children from birth to age three (as part of Early Intervention services) and potentially up to age 18. This position plays a critical role in assessing developmental delays and collaborating with a transdisciplinary team, including occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other specialists.

Key Responsibilities
-
Conduct Part C Early Intervention eligibility evaluations in various settings including office, virtual, home, and daycare environments.

Prepare comprehensive and timely evaluation reports that meet clinical, organizational, and regulatory standards.

Consult with families and service providers to support children’s communication development.

Clearly explain evaluation results and provide functional strategies consistent with a Primary Service Provider model.

Work alongside the clinical team to develop and implement effective programs and services.

Support training efforts for staff and service providers.

Maintain accurate documentation aligned with billing and funder requirements.

Deliver culturally responsive services to a diverse population.

Collaborate closely with transdisciplinary team members to ensure best practice in early childhood developmental care.

Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Required Qualifications
-
Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.

Licensed to practice in the state of Colorado.

Minimum of two years of experience working with infants, toddlers, or young children with developmental delays.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Completion of Colorado’s Early Intervention provider trainings.

Registered with the Early Intervention (EI) Portal.

Five or more years of experience in early childhood developmental services.

Bilingual (Spanish preferred).
-
Experience with feeding evaluations and therapy.
-
Background in working with medically fragile infants or NICU referrals.

Familiarity with assistive technology and third-party reimbursement procedures.
-
Current Medicaid license.
-
CAQH registration.
