Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a client to hire a Senior Employee Relations Specialist for a high-impact role supporting a major organizational transition. This position will play a pivotal role in shaping the employee experience through proactive and strategic employee relations support. You will serve as a vital resource to both leadership and employees, helping to maintain a positive, compliant, and high-functioning workplace culture.
Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in Eastern, Central, or Mountain Time Zones)
Start Date: Monday, May 19
Pay Rate: $35–$42 per hour
Key Responsibilities

Act as the primary subject matter expert on complex employee relations issues, including conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary actions.

Conduct comprehensive, objective investigations into employee complaints and concerns, ensuring thorough documentation and adherence to legal and organizational standards.

Partner with HR Business Partners and Legal Counsel to address ER matters efficiently and effectively, balancing business goals with employee well-being.

Analyze employee relations data and trends to proactively identify potential issues and recommend preventative strategies.

Design and facilitate training for managers on employee relations policies, investigations, compliance, and best practices.

Ensure consistent application of federal, state, and local labor laws across a multi-state workforce.

Promote open lines of communication, build trust with stakeholders, and support a culture of transparency, accountability, and respect.
What You’ll Bring

A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.

At least 5 years of progressive HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations.

Proven ability to navigate sensitive employee situations and conduct fair, impartial investigations.

Solid understanding of employment law and regulatory compliance across multiple jurisdictions.

Excellent judgment, written and verbal communication skills, and an empathetic, solutions-oriented mindset.
