Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Administrative Medical Assistant to support clinic operations in Loveland, CO. This is a contract position through the end of August, offering a hybrid role that combines both administrative and clinical support responsibilities.
Job Details:
- Position: Clinic Clerk / Medical Assistant
- Location: Loveland, CO
- Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Start Date: IMMEDIATE/URGENT NEED
- Pay Rate: $20 – $24
- Contract Length: Through August 1st (potential to move perm)
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Clinical Medical Assistant
- CPR Certification required (must have or obtain prior to start)
- Proficiency in medical terminology
- Strong clerical skills: record keeping, filing, data entry
- Excellent customer service abilities

- MS Word
- Outlook (email)
- Switchboard phone systems
Scope of Work:
Clinic Clerk Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls and route appropriately or take messages as needed
- Greet and direct visitors; provide general service information
- Perform data entry of participant information, diagnostic orders, and test results
- Coordinate internal and external appointments and communicate scheduling to staff and families
- Route diagnostic results to providers and follow up to ensure timely retrieval of procedure outcomes
- File, scan, and index medical documentation
- Assist with medication and aid distribution as qualifications allow
- Maintain immunization tracking and complete service utilization tasks
Medical Assistant Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical support and assist with daily participant care
- Coordinate with clinical staff to prioritize scheduling
- Take vital signs and collect lab specimens (phlebotomy, finger sticks, pulse oximetry)
- Report abnormal findings to RN or Provider
- Ensure timely preparation of lab specimens for courier pickup
- Assist participants with preparation for exams and medical procedures
- Support providers and nurses during procedures within trained competencies
- Dispense medications, inhalers, injections, etc., as qualified
- Schedule lab draws and specialist appointments
- Notify participants of lab results and assist with education
- Maintain clean, well-stocked exam rooms and manage supply inventory
- Complete filing, chart audits, and ensure accurate medical documentation
- Follow all regulatory, safety, and policy guidelines
