Lakeshore Talent is partnered with a reputable Healthcare Agency in their search for multiple Registered Nurses. This nursing position is based in an outpatient setting, supporting a team-focused care model for elderly individuals.
Compensation: $40 – 54/hr, depending on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
Responsibilities include:
- Supporting providers during examinations and procedures
- Executing provider orders and administering medications
- Managing incoming clinical calls and assessing urgency
- Coordinating off-site medical appointments as needed
- Educating participants and caregivers about medications and care plans
- Monitoring health changes and reporting to the clinical team
- Overseeing clinical assistants and contributing to staff education
- Maintaining accurate documentation and up-to-date care plans
- Collaborating in care planning with the interdisciplinary team
- May assist with coverage during holidays or after-hours as needed
- Ensuring supplies are maintained in exam and triage areas
- Participating actively in team huddles and care planning discussions
Qualifications – Required
- Active Colorado RN License
- Current BLS certification
- At least one year of experience working with geriatric or elderly populations
Qualifications – Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing
- Minimum one year in a hospital or acute care setting
- Three or more years in the healthcare field, ideally focused on older adult care
- Multilingual skills are a plus (Spanish, Russian, Punjabi, or Hmong)
Technical Requirements
- Prior experience using major electronic health record systems (Epic preferred)
Pre-Employment Requirements:
- Criminal background check
- State-specific adult protection registry review
- Drug screening (4-panel)
- CPR/First Aid certification
- License and credential verification
