Exciting Buyer/Planner Opportunity with a Leading Global Manufacturer!
Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a renowned manufacturing leader in downtown to fill a dynamic 12-16 week temporary role for a Buyer/Planner. This is your chance to be part of a fast-paced, global supply chain operation.
Start Date: Target start date of April 28th through the end of July
Pay: $40 per hour depending on experience.
Hybrid Schedule: 35-40 Hours/Week, 3 Days in Office (the rest is remote)
What You’ll Do:
- Coordinate Product Flow: Analyze customer demand to ensure seamless movement of goods, keeping inventory at optimal levels.
- Manage Purchase Orders: Take charge of timely PO creation, ensuring full visibility and effective maintenance of orders.
- Forge Relationships with Vendors: Develop and nurture strong supplier relationships to guarantee continuous supply, quality, and on-time deliveries.
- Collaborate with Teams: Partner with customer service and supply chain teams to communicate delivery schedules and manage any potential delays.
- Track Key Performance: Provide valuable insights through KPI reporting, helping the Mobility team stay ahead of trends and reach annual targets.
What We’re Looking For:
- A data-driven professional with a knack for analysis and problem-solving.
- Someone who thrives on driving change and isn’t afraid to challenge the status quo.
- Experience in global supply chain management is a must due to the company’s global reach. National experience may also be considered for the right candidate.
- Expertise in procurement, planning, forecasting, and data visualization to help drive the team’s success.

- Strong in Data Mining and Analysis to make informed decisions.
- Strong background in inventory, purchasing, and vendor management.
- Able to visualize data and create actionable reports for the team.
- Exceptional at managing procurement and production planning to ensure smooth operations.
