Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a client out of the Denver Tech Center in their search for a contract HR Coordinator. The Coordinator provides key administrative support to the people operations team, ensuring smooth day-to-day activities across multiple areas. The individual in this position will interact with employees, managers, and team leads to help maintain records, respond to questions, and assist with various processes tied to staff management and workplace programs.
Location: Greenwood Village
Schedule: Monday – Friday 8am-5pm (hybrid schedule, requiring 2 days/week in office)
Pay: $25-30/hr, depending on experience
Key Duties
- Act as the first contact for staff seeking assistance through phone, email, or other channels
- Handle a wide range of staff-related questions and provide guidance or escalate as needed
- Maintain accurate information in internal systems for staff onboarding, updates, promotions, transfers, and departures
- Coordinate responses for information requests such as verifications, subpoenas, and other documentation needs
- Help prepare official letters and employee-related documents upon request
- Contribute to the creation of training materials and resources, and assist with process improvements
- Support periodic audits and ensure recordkeeping is accurate and current
- Carry out other duties as assigned
- Assist in coordinating workplace benefits and retirement programs, including compliance and reporting requirements
- Support staff with questions about benefits and guide them through enrollment or changes
- Work with outside providers to resolve issues and keep records accurate
- Lead orientation sessions covering benefits and available resources
- Review and process requests for changes due to qualifying events, ensuring communication with staff and vendors
- Track deductions, run periodic audits, and assist with leave-related communications (such as medical leave or accommodation requests)
Background and Skills
- Experience in a people-support, office administration, or similar role; exposure to healthcare or staffing settings is a plus
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- Excellent customer service
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively and maintain confidentiality
- Skilled in balancing multiple priorities and managing time well in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (specifically excel), ADP, and Workday, strongly preferred
- Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure
- Organized, adaptable, and able to build positive working relationships
