Lakeshore Talent has partnered with a large healthcare company to fill a 3-5 month contract for an In-Home Services CNA in Pueblo, CO.
Job Title: In-Home Services CNA
Location: Pueblo, CO
Contract Length: 4 months
Pay Range: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM MT
Travel: Required – 75% travel to participants’ homes within a 30–40 mile radius (mileage reimbursed)
Position Overview
The In-Home Services Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality, compassionate care to frail and elderly participants in both home and center-based settings. This position supports participants with daily living activities, restorative and supportive care, and ensures that care is delivered in accordance with each participant’s care plan. The CNA plays a vital role in maintaining the comfort, safety, and well-being of participants, while fostering their independence and dignity.
Key Responsibilities

Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, eating, and mobility.

Monitor and record participants’ vital signs, weights, appetite, functional ability, and skin condition, reporting any changes to the supervising RN or clinical team.

Provide restorative and supportive care such as ambulation, positioning, transferring, and assistance with medical devices (catheters, oxygen, etc.).

Support participants with feeding assistance and meal monitoring as necessary.

Follow the established plan of care and document all care provided in accordance with policy and regulatory guidelines.

Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and quality management (QM) activities.

Perform simple nursing procedures and household services essential to participants’ health care needs within their homes.

Attend mandatory in-services and continuing education programs (minimum 12 hours per year).

Report any accidents, variances, or unusual occurrences promptly to the appropriate personnel.

Maintain accurate and timely visit records and documentation per agency policy.
Required Qualifications
-
Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by the State of Colorado.

Current First Aid and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required prior to hire).

Personal transportation with valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance as required by law.

Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly populations.

High school diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.
