Procurement Operations Analyst (Contract)
Location: Remote (Must reside in one of 31 approved U.S. states)
Contract Length: 3–4 Months (Maternity Leave Coverage)
Target Start Date: March 16
Pay Rate: $40–$55/hour
Lakeshore Talent is seeking an experienced Procurement Operations Analyst for a 3–4 month contract engagement. This role provides dedicated maternity leave coverage and will ensure seamless continuity of procurement operations during the leave period.
This is a fully remote opportunity; Preference for candidates in MST, CST, or EST time zones.
About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Accounting & Spend Management, this role plays a critical part in supporting end-to-end procurement operations. The Procurement Operations Analyst will collaborate closely with Legal, Accounts Payable, General Ledger teams, internal stakeholders, and external vendors.
This is a true coverage role — processes are established and stable. The focus is maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and strong communication across procurement workflows.
Core Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end procurement operations support
- Manage purchase requests and purchase orders (POs) within a procurement platform
- Oversee high-volume software and SaaS-related POs, including renewals
- Shepherd contracts through execution in partnership with Legal
- Coordinate and move contracts through internal approval workflows
- Support negotiations for higher-dollar or higher-risk agreements, escalating appropriately to Legal
- Maintain clear communication with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure timely completion of requests
Candidate Profile
- Strong background in procurement operations
- Experience supporting SaaS/software procurement and renewals
- Comfortable partnering closely with Legal on contract review and approval processes
- Customer-service or hospitality mindset — responsive, collaborative, and solutions-oriented
- Confident communicator who can keep processes moving with minimal oversight
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
Systems & Tools
- Experience with Zip preferred (open to Coupa, Ariba, or other procurement platforms)
- Proficiency with MS Teams, Word, Excel
- Experience using DocuSign
- Comfortable leveraging AI tools in day-to-day work
