Join Our Client's Team as a Part-time Materials Handler in Boulder!
Are you looking for a hands-on role with a dynamic team? We’re seeking a motivated Part-time Materials Handler to support our busy facility in Boulder. Location: Boulder, CO
Pay: $25 – $30 per hour depending on experience.
Start: ASAP
Time: Preferably 9 – 2 daily (4-6 hours a day)
Duration: 6 months to start with and may be extended.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Unboxing, breaking down boxes, and managing shipping materials for incoming packages.
- Assisting with the receiving process by verifying POs and ensuring proper setup.
- Helping assemble items like shelves and packaging materials.
- Operating tools and equipment, including pallet jacks, to move crates and pallets of sensitive items.
- Adhering strictly to safety procedures, especially when handling high-value, delicate materials. Steel-toed shoes are required.
Required Skills:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably.
- Experience with basic hand tools and equipment usage.
- Comfortable following safety protocols in a technically sensitive environment.
- Reliable and detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
- Ability to operate a pallet jack and handle crates carefully.
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience working in a lab or in a logistical/materials handling role preferred.
- Familiarity with inventory management or PO verification.
- Basic knowledge of assembly or packaging.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Some experience in shipping, receiving, or a lab environment is a plus, but not mandatory.
Other Requirements:
- Steel-toed shoes are a must.
- Comfortable working at a desk with safety guidelines and procedures.
- This position is fully onsite at our Boulder location, with parking available free of charge.
- Must pass a background check; other onboarding requirements may include a drug test.
