Lakeshore Talent is partnering with an innovative start-up company in Boulder, CO to hire a Part Time Receptionist. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming environment, staying organized, and supporting a collaborative office team.
You will be the first point of contact for visitors and employees in a fast-growing, technology-driven workplace. This position will also provide general office support to help keep daily operations running smoothly. You will work alongside the Office Manager, with a brief overlap each day to ensure a smooth handoff before she transitions to other responsibilities.
Location: Boulder, CO
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Employment Type: Part-Time, 6-month contract (with potential to extension or hire)
Pay: $30/hour
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors, employees, and vendors in a friendly and professional manner
- Manage the front desk and ensure a positive first impression of the office
- Answer and direct incoming calls or inquiries as needed
- Help prepare conference rooms for upcoming meetings (set up materials, tidy spaces, reset rooms)
- Maintain common areas including the kitchen and shared spaces
- Run and empty the office dishwasher and assist with light kitchen upkeep
- Tidy office areas and help maintain an organized workspace
- Provide general administrative and office support as needed
- Assist with additional light office duties as they arise
Qualifications
- Previous receptionist, administrative, or office support experience preferred
- Friendly, professional demeanor with strong customer service skills
- Highly reliable and punctual
- Comfortable managing a front desk independently during afternoon hours
- Detail-oriented and proactive with maintaining a tidy office environment
- Ability to handle small tasks and changing priorities with a positive attitude
