Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Reconciliation Specialist (AR/Accounting Support) to join a dynamic accounting team on a temporary basis. This is an immediate need for a hands-on professional who can step in quickly, take ownership of reconciliations, and support critical financial processes through an upcoming close cycle.
Position Details:
- Type: Contract (2 months to start, with potential to extend)
- Pay Rate: $28.00 – $33.00/hour (equivalent to ~$60K–$70K annually)
- Location: Denver, CO (Hybrid – 4 days onsite, 1 day remote)
Position Overview:
This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can operate with minimal direction. The Reconciliation Specialist will support financial operations by reconciling accounts, processing refunds, and assisting with various accounting tasks during a high-volume period. This position plays a key role in ensuring accuracy and continuity during month-end close and system transitions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies independently
- Process customer refunds, including transactions from POS systems
- Research and troubleshoot financial variances in collaboration with internal teams and external processors
- Assist with month-end close activities and post-close cleanup
- Support audit requests and ensure proper documentation
- Contribute to process improvements and system transition efforts
- Jump in on ad hoc accounting tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of accounting, accounts receivable, or reconciliation experience
- Experience with NetSuite strongly preferred; ReconNet (Trintech) is a plus
- Familiarity with POS refund processing is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a changing environment
- Degree in Accounting (or in progress) preferred, or equivalent hands-on experience
