Lakeshore Talent is in search of an In-Home Services CNA to support a compassionate, patient-focused care team in Aurora, Colorado. This is a contract opportunity ideal for CNAs who enjoy a mix of facility-based work and in-home patient care, with the ability to make a meaningful impact in the lives of seniors and individuals needing daily support.
Position Details
- Contract Length: 4 months
- Pay Rate: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
- Schedule: Tuesday through Sunday
- Location: Aurora, CO (75% travel required)
- Travel within a 30–40 mile radius to participant homes (mileage reimbursed)
Position Overview
The In-Home Services CNA provides routine, restorative, and supportive care to clients in both a clinical setting and in their homes. This role focuses on assisting with activities of daily living while closely monitoring health conditions and reporting changes to the care team. Candidates must be comfortable working independently in home environments and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
- Follow individualized care plans and document all care provided accurately and timely
- Monitor and report changes in health status including vital signs, weight, appetite, and skin condition
- Support mobility through ambulation, transferring, and positioning
- Provide basic restorative and supportive care, including catheter care and oxygen assistance as needed
- Assist with meal support and monitor nutritional intake
- Perform light household tasks essential to patient care
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and care teams regarding patient status
- Participate in care planning and attend required trainings and in-services (minimum 12 hours annually)
- Maintain compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- Active and valid CNA license (state-issued)
- Current CPR, BLS, and First Aid certifications (must be in-person through American Red Cross or American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working with elderly or frail populations
- High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)
- Reliable personal transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance
- Clean driving record (MVR check required)
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual skills
Onboarding Requirements
Certifications:
- CNA License
- CPR/BLS Certification (in-person)
- First Aid Certification (in-person)
Medical & Documentation:
- Physical exam (within 30 days)
- TB test (within 1 year)
- Medical clearance form completed by physician
- Flu vaccination (or signed declination with masking compliance)
Additional Requirements:
- Proof of auto insurance and driver’s license
- Completion of onboarding documentation and compliance acknowledgements
- Attendance at required orientation and training sessions
