The Transportation & Logistics Coordinator is responsible for supporting daily transportation operations by coordinating driver routes, scheduling pickups, and ensuring efficient logistics planning. This role serves as a key point of communication between drivers, warehouse operations, and internal departments to help ensure timely deliveries and pickups while maintaining accurate records and supporting day-to-day transportation activities.
Schedule: Monday – Friday (7:00am – 3:30pm)
Location: Onsite in Aurora, CO
Pay: $26/hr
Length: 3 months to start, with potential for extension

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage daily driver routes and schedules to maximize efficiency and productivity.
- Plan routes based on geographic areas, workload, sequencing, and customer needs.
- Prepare daily route documentation, maps, and driver paperwork.
- Respond to unexpected schedule changes, including driver absences, by adjusting routes and redistributing workloads.
- Coordinate inbound pickup schedules and communicate effectively with internal teams to ensure timely transportation of goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse and dock operations to coordinate loading schedules and dock assignments.
- Monitor daily transportation activities and troubleshoot operational issues as they arise.
- Maintain accurate transportation records, routing information, and departmental documentation.
- Provide administrative support for transportation and logistics operations.
- Communicate professionally with drivers, supervisors, vendors, and internal departments to resolve issues and provide updates.
- Ensure compliance with transportation procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Assist with reporting, data entry, and other logistics-related administrative tasks.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- 1–2 years of experience in logistics, transportation, dispatch, warehouse operations, or a related field.
- Experience coordinating driver schedules, routing, or dispatch operations preferred.
- Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with fleet management or GPS routing software.
- Experience using transportation management or dispatch software.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and commercial vehicle operations.
- Experience working in warehouse or distribution environments.

Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with frequent computer use.
