Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Medical Center Receptionist to provide exceptional front-desk, customer service, and administrative support within a busy medical center environment. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, vendors, and employees, ensuring everyone is welcomed professionally and directed to the appropriate department or resource.
The ideal candidate will be organized, personable, dependable, and comfortable managing a high volume of phone calls while handling a variety of administrative responsibilities.
Location: Aurora, CO
Pay Rate: $18.00–$21.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Contract Length: Approximately 4 months
Key Responsibilities
Reception & Customer Service – 60%
- Greet and assist clients, visitors, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.
- Provide directions and assistance to individuals visiting the facility.
- Maintain facility security by managing visitor sign-in procedures and issuing visitor badges.
- Notify appropriate staff members of visitors’ arrival in a timely manner.
- Answer and route incoming phone calls to the appropriate departments using a multiline phone system.
- Take messages and respond to inquiries as needed.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
- Utilize the paging system to contact staff when appropriate.
- Respond to emergency calls and situations according to established procedures.
- Provide a high level of customer service and professionalism at all times.
Clerical & Administrative Support – 40%
- Receive, process, and distribute incoming and outgoing packages and mail through USPS, UPS, FedEx, and other delivery services.
- Prepare and process interoffice and regular incoming/outgoing mail while maintaining confidentiality.
- Distribute mail in a timely and organized manner.
- Provide basic support and maintenance for office equipment, including copiers, fax machines, printers, and other equipment.
- Notify the appropriate personnel when office equipment requires service or repair.
- Maintain accurate logs and records related to office equipment and supplies.
- Monitor office supplies and assist with maintaining an organized and functional work environment.
- Provide general administrative and clerical support as needed.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous experience answering inbound phone calls and working with multiline phone systems.
- Experience with standard office procedures, including filing and record keeping.
- Proficiency using standard office equipment, including computers, copiers, fax machines, and printers.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to remain professional, organized, and courteous in a busy healthcare environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of medical terminology.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
