Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a leading organization to identify a Workday Learning & Training Governance Specialist for a 6-12 month contract opportunity. This role will support the cleanup, standardization, and improvement of training data and processes within Workday Learning.Location: Downtown Denver, 100% Onsite
Pay Rate: $45.00 – $55.00 per hour
Schedule: 9/80 schedule, 8.5-hour workdays with the 1st and 3rd Fridays off
Duration: 6-12 month contract
Parking: Up to $150 per month in parking reimbursement provided by Lakeshore Talent
About the Opportunity
The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience with Workday Learning or another learning management system, strong data management and Excel skills, and a highly detail-oriented approach to maintaining accurate training records. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, improving processes, and bringing structure to complex training requirements.
Responsibilities
- Review and consolidate role-based training requirements from spreadsheets and legacy sources into a standardized structure
- Validate learner profiles, audiences, assignments, and completion records and correct data discrepancies
- Configure and maintain learner populations, programs, dynamic audiences, and assignment rules based on role, location, and work tags
- Process and validate mass uploads, learning record corrections, and other high-volume maintenance activities
- Support the administration and ongoing maintenance of learning management system data and processes
- Document business rules, naming standards, assignment logic, governance requirements, and updated processes
- Review training data for accuracy, consistency, and auditability
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual work and improve the accuracy and efficiency of training processes
- Build and maintain reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Partner with technical and business stakeholders to investigate data issues and implement appropriate corrections
Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Experience administering Workday Learning or another learning management system
- Workday Learning experience is strongly preferred
- Experience working with training assignments, training matrices, course catalogs, curriculum structures, or learning governance
- Strong data management skills, including validating large datasets, investigating data discrepancies, and completing accurate corrections
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including lookups, data comparisons, and working with large data files
- Experience building reports and dashboards using Power BI
- Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement
- Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities in a fast-paced project environment
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business partners
Preferred Qualifications
- Hands-on Workday Learning administration experience
- Experience developing or maintaining training governance frameworks
- Experience supporting large-scale learning data cleanup or system implementation projects
- Experience working with dynamic audiences, learner populations, assignment rules, or mass learning record updates
