Front Desk Receptionist
On-site Front Desk Receptionist in downtown Denver — be the first face and voice everyone sees.$21–$27/hr + parking included, with a great schedule: Mon–Thurs 7–4 and half-day Fridays.
Perfect for a polished, customer-service pro with 2–3 years of reception/admin experience who wants to grow.
Duration: Approx. 15-month assignment (starting early June; potential to extend)
Position summary
Our client is seeking a professional, friendly Front Desk Receptionist to serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, and vendors. This is a highly visible, in-office role focused on creating a welcoming experience while supporting day-to-day office operations, mail/package processing, facilities coordination, and meeting/event support.
Essential responsibilities

Greet and welcome visitors; manage front desk traffic and building access awareness

Answer, route, and provide general information to callers

Process daily incoming/outgoing mail and packages (including FedEx); scan, save, and file as needed

Support training center and meeting setups/breakdowns, sometimes with quick turnaround

Order, stock, and organize office and kitchen/restroom supplies; maintain neat reception and common areas

Submit and track work orders with property management; support facilities and parking-related requests

Assist with meetings/events (food orders, setup, cleanup)

Troubleshoot basic office equipment issues and perform routine maintenance when needed

Prepare routine reports (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly) as requested

Support business continuity efforts and participate in office emergency procedures (including fire warden program)

Handle special projects and other administrative tasks as assigned
Required qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

2–3 years of administrative, office support, or reception experience

Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel); comfortable learning new tools (Teams used)

Strong customer service mindset, communication skills, and professional demeanor

Ability to adapt quickly, shift priorities, and work well with all levels of an organization

Ability to perform light physical tasks (standing/walking, pushing carts, carrying bags, squatting/kneeling, using step stools, reaching overhead)
Additional requirements

Background check and drug screen required (THC included)

Willingness to use a personal phone for work-related texting during business hours (as needed)
