Lakeshore Talent is partnering with a workforce education and career mobility organization to add Member Administration Specialists to their team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys detail-oriented, transactional work and is comfortable working within established processes and guidelines.
Contract | 5 Months
Pay: $24/hour
Schedule: 40 hours/week, standard business hours
Location: Remote
Start Date: Thursday, October 1
About the Opportunity
In this role, you will process member tuition assistance and reimbursement applications through an online marketplace platform. You will review documentation, transcripts, and receipts to ensure requests meet eligibility requirements and follow each employer partner’s specific benefit policies.
The team is adding these contractors to help manage increased processing volume and support the existing team.
Responsibilities

Process tuition assistance and reimbursement applications and requests accurately and within established service-level expectations

Review transcripts, receipts, and supporting documentation against established eligibility criteria

Apply documented procedures and employer-specific benefit policies consistently

Maintain a 98% processing accuracy rate

Manage a consistent volume of requests while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations

Identify exceptions or situations that fall outside established guidelines and escalate appropriately

Maintain accurate records and documentation throughout the processing workflow

Learn and navigate new software, systems, and processes quickly
Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy

Previous experience in a transactional, administrative, processing, billing, benefits, payroll, reimbursement, or similar environment

Comfortable reviewing documentation and comparing information against established guidelines

Strong organizational and time-management skills

Ability to manage a consistent workload while meeting productivity and accuracy expectations

Comfortable working independently in a remote environment

Strong judgment and willingness to ask questions or escalate situations when appropriate

Ability to learn new software and processes quickly
Schedule and Location

40 hours per week during standard business hours

Role is approved for candidates located in 32 states

Company equipment will be provided; equipment type is currently being confirmed
Additional Information

5-month contract, with the possibility of ending earlier if processing volume decreases

Background check required as part of onboarding
