Livestock Trailer Assembler
Location: Henderson, CO — onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:00 a.m.–1:30 p.m.
Pay: $24–$26 per hour, based on skills and experience
Employment Type: 120-day contract-to-hire opportunity
Lakeshore Talent is hiring on behalf of Merritt Trailers, a family-owned manufacturer, for Livestock Trailer Assemblers in Henderson, Colorado.

What You’ll Do
- Assemble livestock trailers from raw materials, including end sheets, side sheets, and other components.
- Read tape measures, drawings, and assembly instructions to complete work accurately.
- Use hand tools, drills, air tools, and other production equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production and quality expectations.
- Perform hands-on, physically demanding work throughout the shift.
- Work on ladders and at heights as required.
- Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
What You’ll Bring
- Ability to read a tape measure and interpret detailed drawings.
- Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with hand tools and power or air tools.
- Dependability, a team-oriented attitude, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and perform the physical duties of the role.
- Comfort working on ladders and at heights.
- Steel-toed boots and a personal tool kit; a required tool list will be provided.
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, construction, or other hands-on work.
- Basic electrical knowledge, including wiring and connecting harnesses.
- Familiarity with crane and saw safety procedures.
Previous assembly experience is helpful but not required. Training is available for motivated candidates with relevant hands-on skills.
Additional Details
- Full-time, onsite availability for the scheduled shift is required.
- Employment is subject to required background screening and pre-employment drug testing.
- The initial assignment is a 120-day contract with potential for permanent employment.
- Compensation may be reviewed at the time of permanent conversion.
