Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Data Analyst to join a healthcare organization on a 6-month contract supporting an important compliance and data analytics initiative. This is a fully remote opportunity with no travel required, offering $44–$63/hour depending on experience and skill level.

This role will focus on consolidating data from multiple sources and transforming it into meaningful, user-friendly Tableau dashboards and reporting for audiences ranging from operational teams to executive and board-level leadership.

Position Overview

The Data Analyst will provide data collection, analysis, visualization, and reporting support for key quality and compliance initiatives across the organization. This individual will work closely with the Compliance team and cross-functional stakeholders to analyze healthcare data, support regulatory reporting, identify trends, and provide accurate insights that help drive quality and performance improvement.

A major component of the project will be developing multiple Tableau dashboard views tailored to different audiences. This is not simply a dashboard-building assignment — the successful candidate will first need to understand:

• Who will be using each dashboard

• What information matters most to each audience

• The appropriate level of detail for each user

• How leadership should interact with and drill into the information

• What story the data needs to tell

For example, executive and board-level users may need high-level views highlighting key compliance metrics, trends, and areas of concern, with the ability to drill down into more detailed information. Operational, clinical, and compliance users may require more detailed reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Consolidate data from multiple internal and external sources into meaningful reporting solutions

• Build sophisticated Tableau dashboards and visualizations from the ground up

• Develop different dashboard views based on the needs of specific audiences

• Translate complex data into clear, actionable insights

• Conduct discovery conversations with senior stakeholders to understand business and reporting needs

• Determine the appropriate metrics, level of detail, and functionality for each dashboard

• Create dashboard mock-ups, prototypes, or presentations to demonstrate proposed solutions

• Present recommendations and proposed dashboard designs to executive leadership

• Incorporate stakeholder feedback and develop final dashboard solutions

• Analyze compliance, operational, clinical, audit, and other healthcare-related data

• Work with Salesforce data and Excel-based reporting

• Partner with IT to obtain appropriate system access, permissions, and data

• Identify trends, patterns, and areas of concern within large datasets

• Support quality, compliance, and performance improvement initiatives

Executive & Cross-Functional Collaboration

The Data Analyst will work closely with the Compliance team and collaborate with senior leaders and cross-functional partners, potentially including:

• Chief Operations Officer

• Chief Medical Officer

• IT leadership and technical teams

• Compliance leadership

• Operational and clinical teams

• Other C-level and executive stakeholders

Executive presence and communication skills are extremely important for this position. The ideal candidate will be comfortable presenting ideas, recommendations, and data-driven insights to C-suite leaders and translating complex technical information into clear, concise business language.

Required Technical Skills

Tableau – Required

• Advanced Tableau expertise

• Demonstrated experience building sophisticated dashboards from the ground up

• Strong data visualization and dashboard design skills

• Experience creating dashboards tailored to different end users

• Ability to develop executive-level reporting with drill-down capabilities

Salesforce – Required

• Strong/advanced Salesforce experience

• Ability to understand, manipulate, and work with Salesforce data

• Comfortable using Salesforce as a significant data source for reporting and analytics

Excel – Required

• Strong Excel and data manipulation skills

• Experience working with large or complex spreadsheets

• Ability to consolidate and analyze spreadsheet-based reporting

Epic – Preferred

• Epic experience is a plus, but not required

• Familiarity with healthcare data and clinical systems would be beneficial

• Salesforce data

• Existing Excel-based reporting

• Healthcare system data

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate is an experienced Data Analyst with strong Tableau and Salesforce expertise who can do more than simply build reports. They should be able to listen to business and executive needs, ask thoughtful questions, translate those needs into a reporting strategy, and communicate recommendations clearly to senior leadership.

Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, executive presence, communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a project-based environment will be important for success.
