Lakeshore Talent is in search of a Medical Center Receptionist to provide front-desk, customer service, and administrative support at a busy medical center in Los Angeles. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being the welcoming face of a professional healthcare environment.
Position: Medical Center Receptionist
Job Type: Contract – Interim/LOA Coverage
Length: 2 months, with possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $19.23–$22.12/hour
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM
Responsibilities
Reception & Customer Service – 60%

Welcome clients, visitors, vendors, and employees in a courteous and professional manner.

Assist visitors with directions and connect them with the appropriate staff or department.

Maintain visitor sign-in procedures and issue visitor badges as needed.

Answer incoming calls using a multi-line phone system and route calls to the appropriate departments.

Take messages and respond to inquiries as needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area.

Use the paging system to notify staff when appropriate.

Respond to emergency calls and situations according to established procedures.
Clerical & Administrative Support – 40%

Receive and process incoming and outgoing packages and mail through carriers such as FedEx, UPS, USPS, and messenger services.

Prepare, process, and distribute interoffice and outgoing mail while maintaining confidentiality.

Provide basic support for office equipment including copiers, fax machines, printers, and other equipment.

Notify appropriate personnel when equipment requires repair or maintenance.

Maintain logs and records related to office equipment and supplies.

Assist with maintaining office supplies and general organization.

Provide general administrative and clerical support as assigned.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as needed.
Required Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Previous experience answering inbound phone calls.

Experience working with multi-line phone systems.

Familiarity with standard office procedures, including filing and record keeping.

Comfortable using standard office equipment such as computers, copiers, fax machines, and printers.

Strong customer service and communication skills.

Professional, courteous, and organized approach to working with clients and visitors.
Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of medical terminology.

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Additional Information

This position requires regular, on-site attendance.

Candidates selected for the position will be required to complete a background check and 4-panel drug screening as part of the onboarding process.
