Lakeshore Talent has partnered with a large healthcare company to fill a 3-5 month contract for an In-Home Services CNA in Pueblo, CO.  

Job Title: In-Home Services CNA

Location: Pueblo, CO 

 Contract Length: 4 months
Pay Range: $23.00 – $27.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM MT
Travel: Required – 75% travel to participants’ homes within a 30–40 mile radius (mileage reimbursed)


Position Overview

The In-Home Services Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality, compassionate care to frail and elderly participants in both home and center-based settings. This position supports participants with daily living activities, restorative and supportive care, and ensures that care is delivered in accordance with each participant’s care plan. The CNA plays a vital role in maintaining the comfort, safety, and well-being of participants, while fostering their independence and dignity.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist participants with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, oral hygiene, toileting, eating, and mobility.

  • Monitor and record participants’ vital signs, weights, appetite, functional ability, and skin condition, reporting any changes to the supervising RN or clinical team.

  • Provide restorative and supportive care such as ambulation, positioning, transferring, and assistance with medical devices (catheters, oxygen, etc.).

  • Support participants with feeding assistance and meal monitoring as necessary.

  • Follow the established plan of care and document all care provided in accordance with policy and regulatory guidelines.

  • Participate in multidisciplinary care planning and quality management (QM) activities.

  • Perform simple nursing procedures and household services essential to participants’ health care needs within their homes.

  • Attend mandatory in-services and continuing education programs (minimum 12 hours per year).

  • Report any accidents, variances, or unusual occurrences promptly to the appropriate personnel.

  • Maintain accurate and timely visit records and documentation per agency policy.


Required Qualifications

  • Current and valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license issued by the State of Colorado.

  • Current First Aid and BLS certifications from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross (required prior to hire).

  • Personal transportation with valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance as required by law.

  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience working with frail or elderly populations.

  • High school diploma or GED, or equivalent relevant experience.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred.

  • Interviews: 1–2 rounds.

  • Onboarding Requirements:

  • Drug screen (4-panel)

  • Background check

  • Verification of BLS and First Aid certifications

  • Physical exam and signed documentation

  • Completion of onboarding documents
